What the Panthers have in store for the upcoming season

Placing second in their division with a 7-5 record in the 2021 ECBL season, the Fayetteville Panthers are looking to progress and move forward towards new goals in the upcoming year.

Our first mission is to put together a team that is more centered on defense and teamwork to bring a stop to the outstanding final scores of games. Instead of teams scoring in the 130's and 140's we want to make it harder for teams to score and bring more intensity on the court. 

After three long days of tryouts, we are coming closer to accomplishing this mission. Putting the right pieces together is the easy part; executing and transitioning it on the court is the next step, which is much more difficult. We will be able to see our work come in to play with preseason exhibition games starting October 30 when we take on the Garden City Magic at home! Tip off will be 6 pm at Berean Baptist Academy, 517 Glensford Drive, Fayetteville, NC.

Our next upcoming preseason exhibition game will be against the top team in our division and conference, the Hickory Hoyas! Last year during the 2021 ECBL season the Hoyas finished 9-1, downing the Panthers twice in the regular season. The Panthers are looking to heat things up with some new additions heading into their matchup on November 6 at 5 pm, located at Grandview Middle School, 451 Catawba Valley Blvd SE, Hickory, NC. With Hickory adding some new pieces this is a MUST SEE matchup!
